Queensberry albums are built to last with archival quality papers, leathers and workmanship which sets them apart from many other wedding albums.
The Process
We work with clients every step of the way to create a custom album, making it very easy to tell your wedding story in a tangible way. You can select your favorite images for your album in the online gallery of proof photos that you will receive six weeks after your event. If you need help narrowing down the photo choices we can weigh in or choose all the images for you. Once we receive your favorite images, we’ll get them retouched and perfected, then go back and forth with our designer at Queensberry to create a virtual album design for your review. This takes about six weeks, after which we’ll send you a link to the online album. At this time, you can make any changes you’d like. Once you are happy with the final design, we will put the album into production. It takes ~eight to ten weeks to have the album manufactured and shipped from New Zealand to us. After we check it to make sure it’s perfect, we will ship your wedding album directly to your home.
There are three different styles of custom albums – Duo, Matted and Flushmount…
About Duo Albums
A fresh look. Our Duo albums have a contemporary look combining matted photographs and flush-mounted images (where the photo is the entire page or extends to the page edge). We love the clean, modern look of this album. Duo pages come in white on white. The photo openings are similar to matted pages where a border is created by trimming the photo slightly smaller than the matted opening to reveal the white base page.
About Matted Albums
A classic look. Our Matted albums beautifully frame each photograph in its own mat, providing depth and texture to the album. The image border is created by trimming the prints slightly smaller than the matted opening to reveal the base page. Matted albums come in white on white for a clean look allowing your images to shine.
About Flushmount Albums
Sleek and modern, letting the images be the focus. Our Queensberry Flushmount albums have the most contemporary look. Flushmount pages are printed edge to edge without a mat. We use only the heaviest weight / highest quality pages for our wedding flushmount albums.
About Parent Albums
Parents can create their own custom albums ranging from a full size Matted or Duo album to a smaller “sibling” of the bride and groom album.
About Mini Copy Albums
Mini Copy Albums are an easy and affordable alternative to a custom parent album. This is an exact replica of the bride and groom’s album in a smaller, flush-mounted format (5”, 7” or 10” on its longest side). These offer the same cover material and color, without embossing. They are available when ordered at the same time as the main album.
About Embossing
Embossing can be as simple or as custom as you’d like and a great way to incorporate a special design from your wedding. Choose from a variety of standard fonts with a choice of seven color fills or blind embossing. Or, have us quote a custom die to truly make your album unique.
