Kathryn and Oliver’s Wedding in Brides Connecticut Spring / Summer 2009!
We liked Kathyrn and Oliver’s wedding from last June so much we created our new Queensberry sample album from it. Brides Connecticut liked their wedding as well and featured Kathryn and Oliver in the current Spring / Summer 2009 issue, shown below. A classic country-chic wedding on Kathryn’s family’s gorgeous land leading down to the Farmington River in Windsor, Connecticut.
Judy Carson’s Savory Palate Catering provided great food and Pete the Butcher put on a killer pig roast. Picturesque pastel cakes came from Cakes by Sugarbelle, and the beautiful flowers came from Jordan Florist.

Nicole and Tony’s Wedding at the Webb Barn in Wethersfield, CT
Last weekend we photographed Nicole and Tony’s intimate wedding at the lush Webb Barn garden at the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum in Wethersfield.
Nicole, Tony and the bridal party–decked out in J. Crew linen suits and bridesmaid dresses–looked awesome, especially against the barn board background and pink petals on the ground.
The Joe Holmes Swing Band provided classy dancing music, and the great variety of food by Emily’s Catering Group looked delicious. The make-up was by Naomi Martinez Salon out of our local West Hartford!

NYC Celebrates Lincoln Center at 50!
The groundbreaking (featuring President Eisenhower on the shovel) for NYC’s Lincoln Center was 50 years ago today….May 14, 1959. You can read more the birthday festivities at the New York Times or on the Lincoln Center’s website. To commemorate this milestone, here are Jane’s pictures from the Swarovski shoots at the Metropolitan Opera in 2008 and 2009.
