Back in August we came into NYC to photograph at the L’Oreal Tech Center on Fifth Avenue for Dark and Lovely, L’Oreal’s line of black women’s relaxers, hair color and styling products.  Dark and Lovely is celebrating its 40th anniversary and wanted to create a special advertorial page for magazines including Essence, and use the images for web and Facebook use.  The theme was what Dark and Lovely means to women, and how it makes you feel beautiful inside and out…and it was a whole lot of fun to shoot!  The three women weren’t models but you can’t tell that from the photos–they were great to work with–thanks Jayda, Ashley and C.
