Lord Thompson Manor Wedding: Tracy and Scott!
It all came together beautifully for Tracy and Scott’s wedding in late October up in Connecticut’s quiet corner at Lord Thompson Manor! They were married outdoors surrounded by family, friends and fall colors before moving the party inside the Lord Thompson Manor, with its beautiful dining rooms and dens, warmed by a welcoming fire.
We loved Tracy and Scott’s first dance, sung by their good friends, where they both savored the moment while at the same time putting on a great show. Their wedding had that timeless feel, with Harlequin masquerade patterns and touches (feather masks came out late night as Tracy changed into her super-fun fringed dress for more dancing) and their band Nik and the Nice Guys roused the dancers with their youthful energy. Orange is the new black indeed, with lots of orange touches with kumquats on the cake (from Something Sweet by Michelle), mandarin oranges and elaborately carved pumpkin decorations all around, with all the flowers and design by Lord Thompson Manor’s Jackie Silverston.
Tracy and Scott (and Cathy, great planning job!), congratulations and thanks so much for having us photograph your wedding!! You can see many more photos by clicking here.
