Money.com Photo Shoot: Karen Hammerness
We recently headed out to Hudson Valley to photograph the delightful Karen Hammerness, Director of Educational Research and Evaluation for the Natural History Museum for Money.com. We did a variety of set-ups depicting Karen in her home, including one with a reminder of the money lessons she’s taught her girls which they chose for their final image.

Lion Rock Farm Wedding Sharon CT: Jaime and Josh
Jaime and Josh have traveled to the far corners of the globe together but chose to have their wedding in small Litchfield County town of Sharon at the Lion Rock Farm. Sharon sits in a green, farm-studded valley–very wide open country compared to the rest of Connecticut…like a bit of France plunked down in New England. And the Lion Rock Farm offers acres of rolling fields with gorgeous views of meadows and mountains.
It’s definitely a serene and private place to get married, while enjoying delicious farm to table cuisine from the talented Rita Welch Catering. Jaime and Josh’s celebration was quite intimate for a large wedding, highlighted by wonderful speeches by family and friends packed with such emotion. Thanks so much Jaime and Josh for having us photograph your day! To see many more photos please click here.

Jonathan Edwards Winery Queensberry Duo 10X14 and Parent Copy Albums
With hints of an early spring, our thoughts turn to…Wedding Season!
One of our favorite places in Connecticut to get married is at Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington CT. The winery epitomizes the laid back farm-to-table kind of wedding, and the open country setting feels miles away from civilization (in a good way!) while being very accessible to folks from NYC and Boston. And to boot, Erica Cyr, the Marketing & Event Director at Jonathan Edwards Winery is wonderful to work with!
Here’s a link to Jonathan Edwards Winery wedding info and below is a 10×14 Queensberry Duo album with an Amethyst Buckram cover from a nice wedding we photographed at the Winery…along with it’s “mini-me” parent copy album.
