West Hartford Holiday Stroll 2013
West Hartford’s Center was packed a few weeks ago for the annual Holiday Stroll and we had lots of fun taking wintry pics of people in our studio…check them out at our Facebook site. Thanks to our amazing assistant Liz for the photo below and all her help this year. We’re celebrating our first holiday season with our studio (it’s at 10 LaSalle Road in West Hartford, CT) and we thrilled to be a bigger part of this vibrant community. For the first time in 3 years, Jane will be teaching her Photo 101 class, covering all her favorite shooting tips plus teaching you how to use your camera without just setting it to “Program”! 2013 GE Petit 5K Race and Family Dinner
Jane and I photographed the GE 5K Road Race to benefit the Petit Family Foundation. A great example of community at its best, the road race helps the The Petit Foundation which “honors the memories of Jennifer Hawke-Petit, Hayley Elizabeth Petit, and Michaela Rose Petit by continuing the kindness, idealism and activism that defined their lives. The Foundation’s funds are given to foster the education of young people, especially women in the sciences; to improve the lives of those affected by chronic illnesses, and to support efforts to protect and help those affected by violence.” For more information please see the GE 5K Road Race website.
