In October Jane met the photo editor of Forbes magazine at a NYC portfolio review…and a few weeks later she called with an assignment: shooting modern art at a home in Westport CT.  So we journeyed down to Fairfield County and met Anne and Tony Greenberg at their cool Asian-inspired modern home in Westport which showcases their love of fun modern art…including plastic sculptures by the former graffiti artist KAWS and a huge painting by the Thai painter Sung.  Here’s the article and some shots from the day.  The article appears in Forbes’ December 5th print issue and Forbes online here.

Maya Moore is on a roll and so is my Jane!  The folks from “O” Magazine called a few months back looking for photos of UConn basketball superstar Maya Moore.  In June 2010 Jane photographed Maya at UConn for Connecticut Magazine and we showed these to Oprah’s people, who selected this expressive shot taken in the Wilbur Cross Building on the Storrs campus.  Congrats Jane (and Maya)!

We are thrilled that Mika and Brendan’s wonderful May 2010 wedding was featured in the 2011 Real Simple Weddings book…which just hit news stands last Thursday!  The article on pages 66-67 in the Attire section showcases Mika’s colorful kimono and other Japanese elements such as their origami cranes escort card holders and Japanese fans.

Their wedding was held at the Eolia Mansion in Waterford CT and their vendors included our friends Talia and Lindsay at Sixpence for Your Shoe (wedding planning), Yumiko Fletcher’s Hana Floral Design in Mystic CT, Moderntrousseau.com (for Mika’s Callie Tein wedding dress and hairpiece), Naomi’s Studio and Salon and Dana Bartone (hair and make-up), Yukiko Sato (Mika’s kimono dresser), Vera Wang (for the bridesmaids’ dresses) and J. Crew (Mika’s shoes).

Congrats Mika and Brendan…and all the vendors!!  Check out the Real Simple Weddings book at Barnes & Noble or other book stores…
