Caramoor Wedding Katonah NY: Liz and Andrew!
Is there an English word for incredibly outgoing and upbeat? Something that captures extroverted and exuburant…like a lot of actors. Well, if there were, you’d see one happy picture of Liz and Andrew in the dictionary entry.
So it makes sense that they chose the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah NY, where everyone got ready in the mid-century actor dressing rooms adjacent to the theater stage (kind of had that “getting ready for the big performance” feel to things). They held their ceremony outside on the lawn, where the celebration continued at the cocktail party, with Andrew’s brother and Best Man, Jonathan, singing with a bluegrass band for a song for Liz and Andrew. Loved their sound–beautiful harmonies in songs like Buck Owens’ Act Naturally.
Onto the reception filled with great speeches and some seriously high-octane dance fever. A wonderful wedding! Great working with the Caramoor team and Annette Babich Event Design!
Thanks so much Liz and Andrew!! Take care and enjoy the photos…to see many more pics, click here…

Wainwright House Wedding Rye NY: Fiona and Jeff!
Tres romantique! That’s the vibe of Fiona and Jeff’s wedding, from Fiona’s floral crown and Sarah Seven dress (from Everthine in Madison CT) to their sparkler send off at twilight from the Wainwright House in Rye NY.
So relaxed and unhurried, their day began with a ceremony at in Shippan Point’s Our Lady Star of the Sea church, followed by a reception at the Wainwright House, where the sun sets over Manhattan skyline–it’s a bit of Buzzards Bay set beside NYC. It’s also the perfect place for a wedding with children, allowing them to run around the lawn enjoying themselves. Lots of natural beauty in the gardens, complemented by the colorful flowers from Cos Cob’s Dirt Floral.
Lots of love all around…thanks so much Fiona and Jeff, you have wonderful families and friends! To see many more pics please click here…

Elm Bank Wedding Wellesley MA: Catie and Adam!
Ecstatic. Beaming. In every single moment. Catie and Adam are made for each other…and it sure shows.
Especially when they walked down the aisle of St. Demetrios’s church in Wellesley MA, so happy to be married, receiving hugs and congratulations from everyone including Catie’s elementary school students. The celebration continued at the bucolic Elm Bank at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, with cocktails in their peaceful gardens, complementing the burst of color from Hallie’s Garden flowers.
Heading inside the reception was a family affair…from Catie’s grandfather’s blessing to her dad’s warm welcome, speeches from Catie’s sister and Adam’s brothers and dances galore (great first dance with Catie swishing her Jim Hjelm dress)…with a rousing Greek circle dance at the end of the evening. Lots of West Hartford folks were in attendance (Catie grew up right down the street from us) and their WeHa family friend roused the crowd with his rendition of Mustang Sally. And the party grooved all night to the music of Joey Scott and the Connection.
Congratulations Catie and Adam!! Thanks so much for having us photograph your wedding…please click here to see many more photos!
