Caity and Matt’s stylish wedding all took place in the beautiful square mile of Main Street in Farmington, Connecticut.  With her father, Caity rode from her home in a horse drawn carriage past Miss Porter’s, her alma mater, to St. Patrick’s Church.  Caity looked amazing in her Angel Sanchez dress (let’s hear it for asymmetrical dresses!) which flowed over her shoulder and down the back…very cool.  And Matt looked great in his Zegna tux with his groomsmen wearing pink Vineyard Vines bowties.

Then the celebration began just down the road at the Hill-Stead Museum, with the cocktail party in the sun-drenched sunken garden.  Their parasols saw brief use as umbrellas during a shower as family and friends headed to the tent for dinner.  Wonderful heartfelt speeches followed, and the partying ensued.  The abundant colorful floral arrangements by Dragonfly Event made the Sperry Tent burst with color while the band Eight to the Bar suited the high energy dancing to a tee.  We must point out the very nice save-the-dates, invitations and custom menus from the Lettres Stationery of Distinction of Avon.

At the end of the night we followed the crew over to the after party at nearby Country Club of Farmington where the dancing and partying continued.  Hats off to our friends Lindsay and Talia at Sixpence for Your Shoe for planning this beautiful event and great seeing our friend Courtney who oversees events at the Hill-Stead!

Caity and Matt, congratulations!!  It was a pleasure meeting your family and friends…thanks for having us photograph your wonderful wedding!!

The Rhode Island shore from Watch Hill to Charlestown is the quintessence of Summer.  And it was the perfect place for Kaitlin and Matthew’s wedding a few weeks ago at Kaitlin’s parents’ home in Charlestown.  Their wedding was a big celebration, with lots of laughter and dancing under their Sperry Tent.  Loved the white dinner jackets Matthew and his groomsmen wore, and Kaitlin dazzled in her dresses–changing into her short dress later in the night.  The butterfly motif complemented the garden party atmosphere, where you could stroll through their beautiful garden on the way to the dock.   Terrific catering by A Thyme to Cook and some high energy music from The Cartells.

It was a pleasure meeting Kaitlin’s family and so nice to see Matthew’s family again (we photographed Hamilton and Kasia’s wedding back in ’09).  Thank you so much Kaitlin and Matthew for having us photograph your day!!  Enjoy the rest of the summer!!

Anchors aweigh!  Jordan arrived by boat at his sunny outdoor wedding to Andrea at the Saugatuck Rowing Club in beautiful Westport CT.  With a gorgeous setting on the Saugatuck river, The SRC boasts The Boathouse, an acclaimed restaurant, along with its Olympic-caliber training facility for rowers.  Prior to the ceremony we stopped in Southport next to the Pequot Yacht Club for photos…one of the prettiest spots in Connecticut.  Andrea and Jordan worked with our friend and event planner Candice Coppola of Jubilee Events and the nautical theme–anchors and ship wheels on the invitations and table settings–and the pink and blue color scheme (with pink peonies from Datura)–looked great.

Lots of love in a relaxed and intimate setting…..thanks so much Andrea and Jordan for having us document your day….congratulations!!
