Alex and Breck had a beautiful night at The Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington CT for their rehearsal dinner a few weeks ago despite the threat of rain all week!  Breck’s family brought a bit of the South to New England making for a warm, relaxed event between two families who were thrilled with their children’s choices in partners.  We always love hearing toasts and speeches about the couple from their family & friends–a real highlight of the night.  Congratulations Alex and Breck and thank you to Breck’s mom, Jane…it was such a pleasure meeting and working with you!

Great wedding!  We traversed New York City in late September for Pam and Nick’s awesome wedding weekend…starting with their rehearsal dinner at Shun Lee on West 65th in New York.  Such a nice couple, always smiling and really enjoying each other’s company.   Jane photographed Pam and Nick in the summer at Yale where they met…stay tuned for pics from their wedding at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers coming soon!  Congratulations Pam and Nick!  Click here to see more photos.

Kaitlin and Kelvin’s wonderful wedding weekend kicked off a few Fridays ago with their rehearsal dinner at Max’s Downtown in Hartford.  After dinner, the piano bar vibe of Max’s turned Latin when the congas and maracas and Salsa music kicked in bigtime.  So fun to photograph…I couldn’t help but sway along as I photographed the dancers and the band!  Several friends and family (and Kelvin) took turns at the mic…loved it!

Kelvin and Kaitlin’s wedding brings together Puerto Rican and Irish families, and in his toast Kelvin joked about how much (or little) alike the two cultures are…but, you know, both these island cultures certainly love to celebrate!  Congratulations Kaitlin and Kelvin!!  Stay tuned for their wedding photos from Trinity College coming shortly!  Click here to view more photos
