Caitlin and Greg’s Essex CT Wedding on Style Me Pretty today!
About a year ago we met Caitlin and Greg along with their wedding planners, Kristin and Lauren from Bellafare in the lobby of the W hotel in New York. We were very excited to photograph their early September wedding at their beautiful home in Essex, Connecticut…which turned out perfect in every respect. A terrific couple who really are made for each other–happy six month anniversary Caitlin and Greg!!!
And today their wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty. Check out our stills and also the very nicely made video by Buzz Media from Mystic (love their blog as well!).
It was a pleasure working with Kristin and Lauren from Bellafare and these other vendors: caterer: SB Catering; tent: Sperry Tents; florist: Lewis Miller Design; lighting: Frost Lighting; videographer: Buzz Media; stationery: Sue Coe Designs; ceremony music and dj: Orchestrations Inc.

Christina and Trevor’s Wedding at the Larchmont Yacht Club in Westchester
Jane and I are still in an Empire State of Mind after Christina and Trevor’s very festive and fun seaside wedding at the Larchmont Yacht Club (LYC) in Westchester County NY a few weeks back. The LYC is the perfect place for a summer wedding and the Top-Sider NOOD Regatta held the same weekend added to the nautical party atmosphere.
Christina got ready and into her beautiful Oscar de la Renta dress at her parents’ home in Stamford while Trevor and the groomsmen readied themselves at the The Delamar hotel on Greenwich Harbor. Their ceremony was held at the Church of St. Augustine in Larchmont, then it was a short stroll to the LYC, where it was so nice to work with John Wall, the Banquet Manager. Christina gave her bridesmaids unique jewelry from Lulu Frost (Lisa Salzer, the designer, attended as well). And The Flower Bar in Larchmont provided the beautiful flowers for the day.
OK…back to Empire State of Mind. Later in the night, Trevor got on stage and belted out Empire State of Mind by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys with the Sultans of Swing, who we’ve met at weddings on Martha’s Vineyard. That dance floor pulsated with a huge crowd dancing and singing…it was awesome…check out the photos! Great anthem for NYC weddings.
Christina and Trevor left Larchmont but continued sailing on their honeymoon in Croatia…where I’m sure they’ve got Jay-Z on the karaoke machine somewhere in Dubrovnik or Split : }
Thanks Christina and Trevor for having us photograph your day!!

Caitlin and Greg’s Tent Wedding in Essex, Connecticut
We had a wonderful time photographing Caitlin and Greg’s stylish wedding at their beautiful home in Essex, Connecticut a few weeks back. Essex is always being named one of the best small towns in New England and made the ideal backdrop for their late summer wedding. Caitlin and Greg exchanged vows under the birch tree in their front yard (which provided inspiration for their decor in the gorgeous Sperry Tent out back). The hanging lanterns, bamboo chairs and chalkboards strung on trees along the path to the tent added lots of texture to the setting, as did the outdoor fire pit for making late night s’mores.
It was a pleasure working with Kristin and Lauren from Bellafare, the outstanding wedding planners who pulled together Caitlin and Greg’s vision so well, including the decor and floral design by Lewis Miller Design from NYC and catering by SB Catering from Fairfield County. Frost Lighting provided the mood-setting lighting for the three pole Sperry Tent. And the ceremony music from Orchestrations Inc. and the NYC based DJ, the Legendary Chris Washington, were excellent. We should mention that Rabbi Dan Sklar was a great singer and guitar player as well!
This very in-the-moment couple and their supportive families made this a special wedding.
Congratulations Caitlin and Greg! Thank you for having us document your wedding!!
