A quick sneak peek of our 5th annual NY Mets photo shoot for SportsNet NY (SNY), the New York sports network. Another great shoot with our client Julie—here’s Jane preparing to photograph David Wright. Jane looks a little starstruck or flirtatious, not sure which! We’ll post the official photos after opening day in April. Let’s Go Mets in 2013!!

Congrats to NY Mets Johan Santana for First Mets No Hitter!!!
A huge congratulations to Johan Santana for pitching the 1st Mets no hitter last Friday against St. Louis. For the past 4 years we’ve photographed the NY Mets for SNY at Spring Training and we always look forward to seeing Santana–he’s always quick with a joke and has fun with the shoot. Well done Johan!!! Keep it going Mets!!!!

2012 NY Mets Photos from Spring Training!
Go Mets! It’s opening day for the New York Mets at Citi Field (and Santana’s back on the mound!) and we can now show you the portraits we took in March in Port St. Lucie FL at Spring Training. As always it’s great working with Julie, our client at SportsNet NY (SNY), which uses the photos during game broadcasts for player intros, etc. This is our fourth year shooting the Mets at Spring Training, where we set up a studio in the visiting team’s locker room and shoot all the players at 7am on “Picture Day” in 90 minutes.
Our assignment is to capture a different side of the players from straight sports photography–this year SNY’s art director asked for a split-face shot for their on-screen use. Photos of David Wright, Johan Santana, Josh Thole, Ike Davis, Manny Acosta, Daniel Murphy, R.A. Dickey, Mike Pelfrey, Ruben Tejada, Miguel Batista, former ’86 Met and 3rd base coach Tim Teufel…and others are below. Take a look and root for the Mets in their 50th season…Let’s Go Mets!!
