We first met Emily at her brother Brendan’s wedding to Mika down on the CT shore at the Eolia Mansion two summers ago.  So it was great seeing Emily and her whole family again just a few weeks ago–and to meet her man Matt–for their wonderful wedding at the Lake of Isles in North Stonington CT!   That morning Matt had given Emily a drawing of a lady bug, and after their first look a little lady bug landed on Emily’s dress…good karma all around!  Thanks guys for getting into the woods for photos!

Everyone was happy to have another sunshine-filled Saturday as their ceremony got underway on the Lake of Isles deck.  Polks dots abounded from Emily’s pretty dress to the Champagne flutes and cake and the lovely flowers came from Cedar Grove Gardens up in Dorchester MA where Matt worked in Junior High.  After several toasts and a lot of laughs folks got jiggy down on the dance floor with some energetic Boston Irish dancing.

Happy Tuesday!  Summer’s just about here and let’s celebrate with Paola and Buster’s fun, festive and colorful backyard wedding featured on Style Me Pretty today!  (You can also their entire gallery of photos at Style Me Pretty here).  Love the relaxed and real feel of their wedding along with all the creative touches–especially the Ken doll sporting his favorite party shirt!  Here’s our blogbost from last summer of their wedding to peruse…Paola and Buster, congrats again and enjoy the rest of the summer!!

It was a pleasure photographing Kristin and Dan’s wedding at the art deco Gershon Fox Room in downtown Hartford in late October.  This was our first time shooting there–love the night club look and feel.  It was fitting that we began (back in  February in knee-deep snow at the Society Room) and ended our 2011 wedding season in downtown Hartford.  This time with Kristin and Dan we had a chance to visit the vintage Hartford City Hall for a fun photo shoot inside and out.

Loved the sage color of Kristin’s bridesmaids dresses by Aria and Kristin’s shoes…looked awesome next to Kristin in her great dress by Lazaro and the guys’ tuxes.  And we reunited with the La Blanc Brothers band who played for Alicia and Ted’s wedding back in August–great band!

Kristin and Dan, congratulations…thanks so much for having us photograph your wedding!!
