The NY Mets wrapped up the 2014 season yesterday, so let’s look back to the beginning…back in February 2014 we made our 6th annual trip to Port St. Lucie, Florida to photograph portraits of the NY Mets players for SportsNet NY (SNY) and the NY Mets.  It’s been so nice to see the players year after year…boyish, fun personalities are great to photograph!

Always a pleasure working with Julie, our terrific client at SNY.  Julie and we sought to liven things up a bit this session to get more emotion, and we even got team captain David Wright to do a few push-ups!   Below are some pics and here’s to a winning season for the Mets in 2015!  To see our past years’ NY Mets portrait shoots, click here.

Alex and Breck had a beautiful night at The Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington CT for their rehearsal dinner a few weeks ago despite the threat of rain all week!  Breck’s family brought a bit of the South to New England making for a warm, relaxed event between two families who were thrilled with their children’s choices in partners.  We always love hearing toasts and speeches about the couple from their family & friends–a real highlight of the night.  Congratulations Alex and Breck and thank you to Breck’s mom, Jane…it was such a pleasure meeting and working with you!

When it comes to West Hartford Center, RLMCo are the local experts by far.  Richard Mahoney ran the commercial real estate management company until he passed away in 2011, and this tribute in the Hartford Courant shows how much he helped make West Hartford Center a better, more vibrant place over the past decades.  Today RLMCo is run by Richard’s son Mike, and his other son Dan is the property manager or “Mr. Fix-it” as he described the pitch his dad and brother made to bring him into the family business.  Dan’s  recently put in a thermopaned window to bring lots more light into the space…thanks Dan!  Love your beard by the way!  Dan’s hobbies include woodworking and raising labs (close to our heart…wonderful family dogs!)…you can check out Dan and his wife’s non-profit at labrescuect.comRLMCo is located at 10 North Main Street in West Hartford Center.
