ESPN’s Hannah Storm for Cosmopolitan.com

We recently did a whirlwind shoot of ESPN’s Hannah Storm for Cosmopolitan.com.  Hannah is the Anchor for ESPN’s Sports Center.  Needing five to seven poses within an hour, we practically ran through ESPN’s Bristol headquarters (after a pre-tour with Dan…thank you!) with light lighting in tow.  The shoot was for Cosmopolitan.com’s “Get That Life” series …it’s definitely worth a read about this inspiring woman.  We were struck by the amount of rejection Hannah received before she got what she wanted…she’s truly a pioneer and it’s an inspiration to everyone trying to follow their dreams, reach their goals, and not give up.  In person, Hannah is extremely warm, down-to-earth, engaging and easy to work with…thank you Hannah to you and your PR team, Chloe, Eliana, and Dan for being up for all of our ideas!

We loved Becca and James’ elegant garden party wedding from their abundant happiness and warm family and friends to the lovely setting in Becca’s parents’ home in New Canaan–there sure is something special about getting married in your very own backyard.

Bellafare created a beautiful event with top vendors including catering by the acclaimed chef Tim LaBant Catering (of the School House at Cannondale), gorgeous floral and decor by Dragonfly, and the lovely cake…from Lovely Cakes!  The make-up from Face Time Beauty was perfect as were the beautiful invitations from Sugar Paper LA and paper from idoinvitations by Sue Coe Designs.  Becca looked amazing in her Kelly Faetanini dress and we loved the bridesmaids’ dresses from Dessy Collection.  To top it off it was a pleasure working alongside our good friend, filmmaker Mike Cyr, owner of Buzz Media.

A wonderful wedding…thank you Becca and James for having us photograph your day!  To see many more photos please click here.

Hill-Stead Museum Wedding Farmington CT: Halley and Mike!

Happy New Year!!  After a very busy photo season we are back blogging and have lots to share this winter.

Let’s start with a wonderful wedding back in June at the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington CT.  The slight drizzle didn’t put off Halley and Mike from getting married in the beautiful sunken garden on the Hill-Stead’s grounds.  Hill-Stead has plenty of nooks, barns and porches for folks to mingle over drinks, making for an intimate cocktail party.

The festive atmosphere continued in the tent, with Halley and Mike’s stylish decor and catering by Clambakes of Connecticut.  Halley’s brother’s and Mike’s best man’s funny toasts set the stage for some seriously high-octane dance fever.  A very fun and stylish wedding…thanks so much Halley and Mike for having us photograph your wedding day!  Click here to view many more photos from their Hill-Stead wedding…
