CT Backyard Engagement Shoot: Becca and James
What a pleasure meeting Becca and James last month for their CT backyard engagement shoot at their family home in New Canaan! We had a beautiful afternoon and took a side trip to Waveny Park with its beautiful gardens and the field where they got engaged. Really looking forward to your wedding!

Big Green Truck Pizza Party Junior League Decorator Show House
We’ve heard many stories about this “Big Green Pizza Truck.” Sure sounded like the perfect marriage of the food truck trend and the freshest New Haven-style pizza. One bite and I was hooked….
A few weeks back I checked out the Big Green Truck Pizza and its 850F oven up close when I photographed the West Hartford Junior League’s Show House Big Green Truck party. The always upbeat and happy Kaitlin Halloran led the event–we got to know Kait a few years back when we photographed her wedding to Kelvin at Trinity. Nice seeing Junior Leaguers Liz, Mary Jo and our good friend Sally (along with non-Junior Leaguer Ken).
The Junior League of Hartford sponsors the West Hartford Decorator’s Show House each year in which top area decorators, including our WH Center neighbors Labrazel Home and Gilley Kitchen and Bath spiff up a home to raise money for the JL’s efforts to help women in the Hartford area. The JL is a group of Hartford area women leaders helping create future leaders–the key focus this year is Empowering Women and Girls to Overcome Obstacles where they’ve teamed up with the Junior Achievement folks.

NY Mets Photos: Our shoot for SNY and the NY Mets!
Way to go Mets!!! Off to a red hot start, keep it up!
Seven years running we’ve photographed the New York Mets at Spring Training in Port St. Lucie for SportsNet NY, the official television home of the New York Mets. We are the last stop on “Photo Day”…the players go through the other press photographers up on the field first then come down to our make-shift locker room studio, music and all. This year art direction was for a more moody, atmospheric look which we needed to create in camera (vs. post) given the large number of final images. Thanks to SNY’s Julie for a wonderful team effort! These photos are used by SNY and the Mets for creative montages and commercials, the new huge center field video screen, and more.
Matt Harvey is back this season and looking great. We really enjoy this bunch of guys having photographed many of them for years now, from Matt Harvey to Captain David Wright, Curtis Granderson, Daniel Murphy, Travis D’Arnaud, Dillon Gee, Bobby Parnell, and Jon Niese…lots of optimism in the air…let’s go Mets in 2015!!
