Andrea and Jordan’s Wedding at the Saugatuck Rowing Club in Westport CT!
Anchors aweigh! Jordan arrived by boat at his sunny outdoor wedding to Andrea at the Saugatuck Rowing Club in beautiful Westport CT. With a gorgeous setting on the Saugatuck river, The SRC boasts The Boathouse, an acclaimed restaurant, along with its Olympic-caliber training facility for rowers. Prior to the ceremony we stopped in Southport next to the Pequot Yacht Club for photos…one of the prettiest spots in Connecticut. Andrea and Jordan worked with our friend and event planner Candice Coppola of Jubilee Events and the nautical theme–anchors and ship wheels on the invitations and table settings–and the pink and blue color scheme (with pink peonies from Datura)–looked great.
Lots of love in a relaxed and intimate setting…..thanks so much Andrea and Jordan for having us document your day….congratulations!!

Athena and John’s Essex CT Wedding on Style Me Pretty Today!!
Whoohoo!! Athena and John’s Essex CT wedding is featured today on Style Me Pretty! A terrific couple….their nautically-inspired wedding last June was perfect…with their outside ceremony at Main Street Park (the rainy skies parted just in time) and their reception a short stroll down the street at The Essex Yacht Club. A great wedding…with the dynamic duo of event planners, Talia and Lindsay from Sixpence for your Shoe, super vibrant flowers from Yumiko Fletcher’s Hana Floral Design, hair and makeup by Dana Bartone & Company and a sailcloth tent from Sperry Tents! Christina and Trevor’s Wedding at the Larchmont Yacht Club in Westchester
Jane and I are still in an Empire State of Mind after Christina and Trevor’s very festive and fun seaside wedding at the Larchmont Yacht Club (LYC) in Westchester County NY a few weeks back. The LYC is the perfect place for a summer wedding and the Top-Sider NOOD Regatta held the same weekend added to the nautical party atmosphere.
Christina got ready and into her beautiful Oscar de la Renta dress at her parents’ home in Stamford while Trevor and the groomsmen readied themselves at the The Delamar hotel on Greenwich Harbor. Their ceremony was held at the Church of St. Augustine in Larchmont, then it was a short stroll to the LYC, where it was so nice to work with John Wall, the Banquet Manager. Christina gave her bridesmaids unique jewelry from Lulu Frost (Lisa Salzer, the designer, attended as well). And The Flower Bar in Larchmont provided the beautiful flowers for the day.
OK…back to Empire State of Mind. Later in the night, Trevor got on stage and belted out Empire State of Mind by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys with the Sultans of Swing, who we’ve met at weddings on Martha’s Vineyard. That dance floor pulsated with a huge crowd dancing and singing…it was awesome…check out the photos! Great anthem for NYC weddings.
Christina and Trevor left Larchmont but continued sailing on their honeymoon in Croatia…where I’m sure they’ve got Jay-Z on the karaoke machine somewhere in Dubrovnik or Split : }
